Two summer dresses

Here are two summer dresses, just added to the shop.

1960s Mexican dress

I think this hand-embroidered Oaxacan beauty was quite a find. How did it make its way to these shores and wind up in a little town in the North West of England? It must have some tales to tell! And the gingham pinafore is exactly the kind of dress I like wearing at this time of year - it's really pretty with its hip pockets and tie belt but also extremely cool for hot summer weather.

As mentioned in my last post, I've been quite busy lately so etsy listings have been a bit slower than I'd like but I hope things will quieten down soon. I have two more shop updates already in the works... I just need to find time to fit in some picture-taking! The first update will be full of 60s and 70s pieces and the second will include some of my own vintage clothing. There are already several items that I've passed on to the shop (here, here, here, here and here!) but I have more clearing out to do... I find it difficult to let go of vintage clothes because each piece is unique and has memories but I'm trying to de-clutter my belongings and I want others to enjoy them too! I'll be posting the updates here and also sharing some recent thrifting finds (re-cluttering in action!).
